The submission of articles is open until December 15, 2021.
The XV Cinema em Português Jornadas are organized by LabCom – Comunicação e Artes, with the support of the Department of Arts and the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Beira Interior. Since the first edition, in 2008, the Jornadas have focused on the discussion of cinematographies from territories where Portuguese is the official or dominant language, seeking to integrate these works as an example of the new artistic, cultural and socio-economic dynamics that have marked the years most recent. Reaffirming its own history, the fifteenth edition of Jornadas Cinema em Português intends to analyze and debate current and pertinent issues for reflection on cinemas in different Portuguese-speaking countries, seeking to join efforts to rehearse hypotheses for joint and complementary reading.
All submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. The Proceedings will be published in open access, in digital format.
